I'm a theatre teacher and former professional actress who understands both sides of the college audition journey-the training it takes to get there and the reality of pursuing theatre professionally.

I studied Musical Theatre at AMDA (American Musical and Dramatic Academy) in New York City and went on to work professionally, including performing on the National Tour of Spring Awakening and in regional theatre productions of Footloose and Little Shop of Horrors.

As a teacher, I now have the opportunity to help the next generation of performers navigate the process of pursuing theatre in college.

I know how exciting the audition process can be, but I also know how overwhelming it can feel. There are requirements to understand, materials to organize, prescreens to prepare, auditions to navigate, and a lot of uncertainty along the way.

My goal is to make that process more manageable. I want to help students understand what to expect, stay organized, prepare for each step, and approach the process one audition at a time. I don't choose their material or tell them what path they should take. Instead, I give them the guidance and support to make informed decisions for themselves.

Most importantly, I want students to feel prepared not pressured and to discover whether pursuing musical theatre in college is truly the right path for them.
